BETTER BREATHERS

BETTER BREATHERS is the support network of the Perak Chest Society providing information, support and friendship to all people living with a lung condition, their family, friends and carers.  BETTER BREATHERS will become an integral part of the support and care that patients receive. It will also grow into a powerful campaigning force for change - through the work of patients. The Perak Chest Society has a dedicated team to support and work with the BETTER BREATHER network across Perak.

BETTER BREATHERS support groups in Perak are run by patients, for patients. Most groups have a dedicated health professional who provides help and advice. Groups vary in size and activity with some having between 10-20 members. Groups provide a friendly atmosphere for people to meet and talk, find out more about their lung condition, participate in awareness events, campaigning, fundraising, and social outings.

Meetings are held in the PCS Secretariat on every 2nd Saturday of the month from 12.00 noon till 1.00 pm.  Please look up the calendar for more information.
